Robin trained at the Royal Academy of Music and on the Opera Course at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. His operatic roles include Sellem/Rake’s Progress (English Touring Opera & Barbara Hannigan’s EQ artist scheme), Fox/Vixen (English National Opera/Silent opera), Mayor/ 1st cover Anatoly/Chess & Graf Albert (cover)/Die Tote Stadt (English National Opera), Analyst/A Quiet Place (Royal Opera House), Fenton/Falstaff, Alfred/Die Fledermaus & Pluto/Orpheus in the Underworld (Iford/IF Opera), Gastone & cover Alfredo/La Traviata (Nevill Holt Opera), Bearded Wild Thing/Where the Wild Things are (Shadwell Opera), Quint/Prologue/Turn of the Screw, The One/Janacek’s Diary of One Who Disappeared and Henry Crawford/Mansfield Park (Waterperry Opera festival), Candide/Candide, Alfred/Die Fledermaus, Pirelli/Sweeney Todd (West Green House Opera), Val Jean/Les Misérables & Tony/West Side Story (Pimlico/Grange Park Opera), Alexis/The Sorcerer, Nanki-Poo/The Mikado & Tamino/The Magic Flute (Charles Court Opera).

Robin’s solo oratorio work includes B Minor Mass/Bach, Mozart Requiem & Le Grand Messe de Morts/Berlioz (Canterbury Cathedral), St. Matthew Passion/Bach (Bristol Beacon), The Bells/Rachmaninov (Winchester Cathedral), Israel in Egypt/Handel (Southwark Cathedral), The Crucifixion/Stainer (St. Martin’s in the Fields), Elijah/Mendelssohn (Dorchester Abbey).

Robin was a founding member of the A Capella group Voces8. He was also awarded 2nd prize in the International Lotte Lenya competition in New York, and the Young artists’ prize at the Les Azuriales competition in Nice, France. Robin is currently performing Marco in The Gondoliers with English Touring Opera.
